SDI Educational Events

Spiritual Directors International is an increasingly diverse learning community. During the educational events, we share sacred time together and participate in contemplative practices specifically designed to celebrate our diversity. Spiritual Directors International also respects the desires of participants to gather with people within their religious traditions, and SDI honors the ecclesial authorities that oversee ritual norms within religious traditions. It is our hope that participants who visit local places of worship will be ambassadors of spiritual direction, helping the local community learn more about the value of spiritual companionship.

To facilitate locating local places of worship, Spiritual Directors International provides the following list. Participants may want to visit one or several spiritual communities while in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Note: We have done our best to check information for accuracy. Many houses of worship operate on seasonal schedules, so please call ahead for worship times. If you notice information is missing or incorrect, please notify membership@sdiworld.org.

During the Cultivating Compassion on the River conference, a peaceful onsite meditation space will be available twenty-four hours a day.
